Hi Steve: I am so sorry that I won't be able to join the "odd balls" this
year. I am sure it is going to be so much fun. My whole life is changing. I
will be sending you a new E-Mail address soon. I am still at United General
Industries for another month but I have been laid off and now in a "job
search mode"
I am sending a pic of Mom, Shirley and I. We went on a cruise in February.
We had so much fun. There was an event where we were trying to win a
contest. Shirley had to come up with black teeth, Mom had to spit her teeth
out, and I had to show my appendicitis scar. We lost the contest, but an
experience we will never forget...
I have enjoyed the website a lot... Love, Judy

Hi,

Sorry you're not making Oddballs. Kathy and I took our boys and
their wives on a cruise to Cozumel and Cancun in May. Boy are
they fun!

Steve,

This looks really great. Thanks. I should probably add some more
so if you want to include the following, please do.

The reason Marti is in L.A. is she is performing in the opera,
"Tosca" which ends June 27. She is not one of the stars, but is
one of the cast. However, she is a star to me. If you hadn't
gathered from what I said earlier, she has an incredible voice.
That is what got my attention and I haven't been the same since.
Now that I know the real Marti, I realize that her voice is just
one facet of who she is. The song "Amazed" explains my feelings
better than I can. I am truly amazed by her.

See you in a few days.

Hi Kathy,

Yes, the rumor is true and we are, to say the least, very excited.
If there was ever a perfect woman on the face of the earth for me,
it is Marti. She is the woman of my dreams. I wish I had more
time to spend, but I'll tell you more later. I'm glad you're all ok.
I tried to call you a couple of times but couldn't get through.
Here is a picture. (Click below)

I hope your cruise went well. Tell me all about it.

My dad, Barry Warr is in the hospital. He had a mild stroke (he is coherrent, but has
lost the partial use of his right hand from the elbow down) the night before last.
He is staying at Scottsdale Health Care Shea (480)657-1701. He is having an MRI
this morning. They will determine further care based on the MRI results. I will keep

Hi Uncle Steve and Aunt Kathy
We are working on a new promotion with our company, Excel. We need to get long distance
customers. We want you to give the long distance service a try. After you try the service,
if you like it fine, if you don't like it fine, fair enough. Their are several plans to
choose from. You can check them out on our website. You can order right on the website
or call 1-888-673-3795. Our rep id number is 542115914. We would really appreciate your
help in this. If you have any questions, feel free to call us. 531-3195

Hi Uncle Steve

Thanks for responding to my email! Yes you can post me on the website if you want. That's
where I got your address!!
As far as the long distance, it really doesn't matter how much you use to help us out, but
that's ok if you don't want to switch.

How are you guys? How are danny and Kenny?
We're doing pretty well. Chris drives a town car for a living now. He really enjoys it.
He meets lots of interesting people. I just keep busy with my quilting!

It's great that you guys see Erin once in a while. It's always nice to have family close by.

Keep in touch, tell everyone hi for me

As I have been reviewing the emails, there are some things I have to address.
First, my sister (Barbara) in her email, claims to be the best looking in our
family. Well, I'm the only one that got to get braces - enough said. And
cousin Rod, you can't spell worth a darn. Really though, what I wanted to
share is that everyone should try and get uncle Sam's (Roderick) manuscript,
it's really something. And speaking of literature, Nick's book, 'Phase Line
Green', is quite a work. For those of us of that generation, it really
strikes home. Anyway, best to everyone and let's all try to make the next
reunion. Hello to everbody - met and unmet, this is quite a group! Hello all,

October 16, 2000 Steve: I always right click on my mouse, I usually get a menu with back/forward etc., but when I'm in reuinion 2000 I don't get that menu. I get paste and other stuff. Anyway, I click out and come back to the site to see other stuff, I thought there might be a simpler way, thanks. Barry Right-click off to the side of the picture, not on the picture and you should see the back choice. October 15, 2000

Steve, everytime I click on picture in the reunion page the only way out, is
all the way out of warrpath.com. Then I log back on to the site to look at
another pic. Please tell your "older brother" in plain language how to do
this in an easier way. I did read all the e-mails this am, that was fun. My
e-mail to you yesterday was not through warrpath.com, I used my personal
address book to get to you. After reading all of the e-mails on warrpath, I
see the difference now. I haven't looked at the reunion pics since you first
told me about the site. I like the way you reorganized.

October 15, 2000 Dear Steve: I don't know how to access the e-mail indicated on the cover page. As to sending you stuff, I have asked all of my kids for pics to be e-mailed to your address, would like to open my family page. Would you believe both Todd and Scott have e-mail address's, but when I talk to them on the phone they don't know their own e-mail address and promise to go home and e-mail me the information, to date haven't done so. All of my family has visited warrpath.com, like it and want to participate, but obviously haven't. My foster son David, has been to Warr reunions and through the years has kept close contact, you know he lived with us for 6 years until he graduated from High School. For your info his e-mail address is: sdave@internetcds.com. I am in the process of arranging, I call it "Dads Christmas 2000", haven't had them all together since Christmas 1994, really looking forward to it and it looks like it's going to happen in Scottsdale. Would you believe this? My Granchildren count: Brenda 1, Scott 6, David 2, Todd 2, Jennifer 0; total 11. Unbelievable!!!!! Barry Barry, If your computer is set up to do it, you should be able to click on the address and it will automatically go to your email program to create the message and automatically enter the address. If not, highlight the address and click file - copy (ctrl c), go to your email program and paste (File - paste or ctrl v) it in the address line. There hasn't been much activity on the web site lately as you can see from the email messages sent page. I guess everyone is too busy. Good luck on your Scottsdale reunion. Your 11 grand kids is fantastic. Our first, Alexis (Ken's and Trish's daughter) should arrive next Friday. Wish us luck. Steve

Dear Steve: I do know that using all caps is considered yelling, I just
forget sometimes, sorry. Years ago for some reason I developed a habit of
typing letters in all caps, it might sound stupid, but it is easier because
that way you never have shift to capitalize the letters that have to be.
Anyway, I certainly wasn't yelling at you.
Steve, I think the website is fantastic, what a great idea you came up with.
I hope everybody participates, I can just see it growing and growing. I'm
certianly going to check in from time to time. I loved the reunion pics, you
might take a look though, it appeared to me that some were missing as there
are several spaces blank where you did have captions, one of them was the pic
of the fish Billy caught so I did'nt get to see it. I am going to send you
some pics of my family to put on as even when I get a scanner, I would have
no clue as how to go into the site and put them on. I'm going to e-mail
Brenda right now and advise her of warrpath.com, she's the only one of my
kids with internet access at this time. I'm sure she will e-mail you with
her e-mail address so you can put her on the list. Let's keep in touch, Barry

Webmaster's note: The picture should show up now. It's faster to go to the section "Select photos from a list" They are the same pictures and they display full size. The server we are using is unix based, so upper and lower case makes a difference (like the yelling). My computer didn't care so they displayed all right for me. Keep pointing out the problems to me. Barry, with regard to the shift problem, some veterans on line TYPE NO CAPS AT ALL, to get around that problem.

Incidentally, rather than invest in a scanner, a digital camera might be just the ticket. Its actually easier to take digital pictures of your existing photos and they seem to be just as good.

---

You put the wrong address on my email. It's warryurr@hotmail.com. You need two r's in both places.

Hey bro, I don't mean to be picky, but one of your pictures is still
incorrect. Yes, the one labeled "Fight, Fight, Green and White" is correct.
But the one that says "Fight, Fight, Green and White, The grand ladies" is
really a picture of me and my two ringers. Now the only thing I can figure
is that the two horseshoes are the grand ladies and my sweat shirt is green
and white. Hmmmmmm.

Dad,

Reviewed warrpath.com last night and enjoyed the pictures. I do have one
suggestion: make the pictures smaller. It took fifteen minutes to load the
reunion page and I'm not sure how many people are as patient as I am. A
graphics program like I View (which is free on the internet can resize your
pictures. You can make small thumbnails (3 or 4 K) that people can click on
to go to the large picture. It will speed up load time and let people pick
and choose which pictures they want to see full size instead off seeing all
of them. This process will take some time (unless you find a
thumbnail-making graphics program) but will be worth it. Otherwise the
sight looked great.

What was Uncle Dennis doing with his head in the horseshoe pit? It looked
chilly everybody was wearing a jacket. Not fair.

I looked at the "Joseph P. Warr" family page and saw an eerie resemblance.
The attached file is proof of resemblance. You and Ken look alike too but
the glasses hide it more.

Have fun working on the site today.

Dan

Webmaster's note: Dan's right, making the pictures smaller would make it faster. I opted instead to keep them full-size so that you could get better quality printed pics and wallpaper. As we near the 10 megabyte capacity, I may have to do that or remove some of the older pictures. Let me know what you think.

Hi Steve,
Just saw the warrpath site and was sooo impressed!!!! However there's
a mistake on the photo that shows Tom and Wayne Crowe (you had Dave
instead) Wayne is our son-in-law. married to Suzanne. He is indeed "cool"
and a super guy in every way.
Wasn't the reunion fun?? We sure enjoyed seeing everyone and seeing the
photos on the site brought back those feelings all over again. Thanks for
your computer expertise!!!
Bye for now, talk to you later. Ric (and DeeDee, too)

Hey there,
Just wanted to let you know that the second photo titled "Dave and Tom are cool" is really Wayne and Tom.......not Dave.
Wayne is Ric Warr's son in law.
Great pictures though!! Thanks for doing this.
